Expert Intervention ICSE Grade 5 and 8 ICSE

It has never been a better time to be a writer --or aspire to become one, in today’s current times .

Platforms like LinkedIn, Medium and WordPress have placed millions of dollars of technology, and the power that once only belonged to major publishing and media firms, into the hands of millions of writers -- entirely for free.

But technology can only take a writer so far. Writing is an art and a craft that needs to be developed through deliberate practice and study over a long period of time.

On 4th Dec’, a 15 year old young author , a gr 10 student of DAV school , interacted with the students of Gr 5 and 8 in two separate sessions , briefing them about her personal story and journey along with discussing her 12 books .

Janushi Raichura has published twelve books namely, The Black Time, The Gorgon's Curse, The Alchemic Presage, The Banished Heretics, The Tale of Mrs. Anonymous, The Enforcement of Youth Espionage, The Hues of Samsara, The Prismatic Eleven, My Soul's Verses, The Age of Wiccans, Intransigent Thoughts and The Fourth Boy. She's written across various genres from fantasy to crime to death.

She has received 'Youngest to write fiction books on illusion and magic world' award by India Book of Records and has been awarded as 'Grand Master 'by Asia Book of Records.

She has also been honored by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Honorables Shri Vijay Rupani Sir and Shreemati Neemaben Acharya, the Speaker of Gujarat's Vidhan Sabha.

She worked as the Chief Guest Editor for INTELLY JELLY and did an internship under RobinAge magazine.

She has also spoken on several talk shows hosted by GTPL, Gujarat Literature Festival, Kalinga Literature Festival, Karma Foundation, etc. and appeared on several news channels such as ETV Bharat, Doordarshan, GTPL, etc.

The sessions were extremely engaging and it was very interesting to have a vibrant dialogue between Janushi and  curious and intelligent , avid readers and writers for the audience .

The session proved to be very inspiring and motivating for all the students  and gave them this hope that they could publish their own books too .
