Self-expression is one of the best gifts we can give to our children . Having the ability and the forum to express their feelings allows them to communicate in another language – one that is easier than words, namely music .

One of the best platforms for self expression that can be awarded to the children is music and story telling as it has been rightly said that - ‘Those who tell the stories rule the world”.

On Friday , 30th Nov ‘23 , the  school amphitheater transformed into a fantasy land where the entire Grade 1 was transported into an imaginative land of stories complemented beautifully with lilting melodies and music in Ms Shaily’s voice accompanied by her expert stringing of the guitar .

Ms Tripat weaved a touching story of compassion and kindness with main characters like a merchant , tiger and other animals in a forest setting .

She expertly involved the children in a role play with supporting props and simple dialogues , keeping them all engaged .

The lovely morning ended with a craft activity where each child made a take home puppet with a brown paper bag to retell the story at home .
